Since 1999, Kalura organizes trekking and hikes in Ragusa and in the Hyblaean mountains, accompanying guests, along the most authentic Sicily’s Paths.
The south-east of sicily is our starting point: canyon dug by water, karst plateaux, valleys, quiet and rural landscapes that tell a story of a thousand years. Here are our travels to walk towards the other areas of the island and its smaller islands – the Aeolian islands, the Egadi islands and Pantelleria.
Each path is a meeting with the territory, with its light, and with his pace.

Expert guides, deep knowledge of the territory

The Kalura’s guides, associated with AIGAE, have gained direct and consistent experience on the trails of the Iblei Mountains and the province of Ragusa.
Knowledge of the landscape is not theoretical: it is the result of the presence, study and practice. From the Iblei’s canyon to the mediterranean coast from the prehistoric settlements to the rolling hills of the hinterland, each excursion is carried out with competence, safety and respect for the environment.

We propose itineraries suitable to different levels of experience: simple pathways for beginner hikers, hiking and more developed for those who want to explore natural environments with greater intensity.

The activity of the association is divided in two areas.
Planned excursions, with weekly appointments, generally on Sunday – dedicated to the discovery of the paths of Dubrovnik and the Iblei mountains.
Services upon request for groups, schools, families, social and corporate team building activities, with trails designed to reach your specific needs.
